Divorce Rate Falling in Arizona?

Divorce Rate Falling in Arizona?

Divorce in any fashion, whether contentious or friendly (mostly for the children's sake), is always difficult and fraught with problematic discourses about and around property division, child custody and support, spousal support and debt allocation. The newest news out right now is that the occurrence of divorce is actually going down in America, but not for the reason you may think or even hope is true.

Many different publications have said that the divorce rate is a steady 50 percent; meaning that half of all marriages end in a separation. However, at least one author believes that the divorce surge is over. It peaked in the 1980s when Ronald Reagan was president. The internet had not been invented yet and we were all sure that our marriages would last a lifetime. Actually, the timeframe mentioned may have even been seeing a downward trend in divorce ratings, but we may never know for sure.

There are a couple of reasons that people think that the divorce rate is still fairly high. We get our news from the web, and most of it is about the rich and famous, who seem to get a divorce as often and easily as they go for dinner. It seems normal to us, so we think that because popular media reports it, it must be prevalent.

The other reason we think the rate is so high is because it is actually the marrying part that isn't as popular now. More people are co-habiting. Of course, this is one author's opinion and, as much as we don't want to be a statistic, divorce can be the best option for you.

Divorce still happens to the best of us and we want so much to get through it without the hard and nasty attitude that the media presents so often. If you want someone who will have your best interests in mind and who knows the laws of the state of Arizona, you may want to contact a professional. You want what is rightfully yours, so contacting someone who can assist can be a good idea in this situation.
